The Scandinavians moved two places up with world champions Spain placing second in the latest release. La Roja could have gone top of the pile, but the 4-0 defeat to Japan in their final group game at the World Cup meant they lost 35 points.

Meanwhile, four-time champions USA dropped to third place while Germany, who had a tough World Cup fell to sixth position, four down from their previous standing.
