The German star has been an unpopular figure among Arsenal fans through his stay at the Emirates, with many calling for his offloading.
So dire the situation is that the defender was even booed by supporters when he came on as a substitute during Arsenal’s Emirates Cup defeat to Lyon.
The former Valencia player now appears to be in the wrong books with his own teammates after Aubameyang liking a post on Instagram suggesting the defender could join the French outfit.

Be that as it may, the 27-year-old's possible departure could leave Arsenal's defensive department depleted, even as Unai Emery grapples with Laurent Koscielny's lack of commitment to the club.
Mustafi has made 82 appearances in the Premier League since his £35m move from Valencia in 2016, scoring seven times.
