It’s not a good time for Kaizer Chiefs at the moment.
The club is going through a rough patch on the field and now have problems away from it as well.
As noted by News24, the club have been asked to appear before the Premier Soccer League’s Disciplinary Committee over the actions of their fans.
Angry fans threw objects at head coach Molefi Ntseki after the side lost for the second time in the league this season, iDiskiTimes reported.
Chiefs’ supporters previously targeted Arthur Zwane last season when the Amakhosi were beaten by SuperSport United, a defeat which meant they wouldn’t qualify for continental competitions the following season.
When will Chiefs appear?
The league's prosecutor confirmed that the Glamour Boys will now appear before the PSL’s DC on August 29.
"I confirm that I preferred charges of misconduct against Kaizer Chiefs Football Club," Advocate Zola Majavu said.
Sundowns also in hot water
DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns are also in trouble and will have to appear before the DC.
As noted by Goal, Sundowns and Themba Zwane have been summoned to appear before the committee over an incident before the MTN 8 fixture against Moroka Swallows. Zwane was shown a yellow card in the game before the kick-off after he chose to salute fans with the team instead of starting the game.

Sports Brief also reported on furious Chiefs fans pelting Ntseki with objects after the Amakhosi lost another game in the DStv Premiership this season.
