According to Sportbible, Mikel Arteta is willing to part ways with the 21-year-old forward, who is still injured after he picked up during the club's pre-season tour of the United States.

However, he has since hinted on a possible return to action after he posted a picture of him in training on Instagram.

Chelsea plot Balogun move

Reports claim Chelsea have held talks with Balogun's representatives over a potential summer transfer to Stamford Bridge.

talkSPORT reports that a £40 million asking price has been set by Arsenal for the United States international.

It is understood that should the Blues stump up the fee, they have a 'secret weapon' that could help them secure the services of the youngster.

However, they will have to contend for competition from Fulham, who are also said to be eyeing a summer move for Balogun.

The west Londoners have been active in the ongoing transfer window, having already signed a string of players.

They recently splashed out a British record transfer fee of £115 million to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton.

Rival fans troll Caicedo

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Caicedo was subjected to trolls by rival fans after the British record transfer signing conceded a late penalty while his team was chasing an equaliser.

His cameo in the game was not impressive, albeit he is still settling into his new environment. However, that proved to be a meal for rival fans who showed no mercy to the 21-year-old Ecuadorian midfielder.
