Highly-rated Ghanaian youngster, Ernest Nuamah has joined French giants Olympique Lyonnais in the summer transfer window from Danish club FC Nordsjaelland.
The 19-year-old signed a deal reportedly worth a €25m fixed fee plus €5m add-ons, making him the club's most expensive signing.
Nuamah also becomes the most expensive transfer from the Danish league, breaking the record set by compatriot Kamaldeen Sulemena following his move to Stade Rennais in 2021.
"Eagle Football and Olympique Lyonnais are very pleased to announce the arrival of Ghanaian international striker, Ernest Nuamah, from RWDM, in the form of a loan until June 30, 2024," wrote Lyon on their official website.
Nuamah leaves FC Nordsjaelland after two seasons, winning the Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards.
"In this connection, an agreement was eventually reached with more than one club, and after talks with the various clubs, Ernest has been clear that he wants to continue his development at Olympique Lyonnais," said Jan Laursen, sporting director of the FC Nordsjaelland, per fcn.dk.
The Right to Dream Academy graduate successfully passed his medical last Monday after travelling to Lyon on the same day.
The Black Meteors forward has been on the radar of several clubs, but chose the French outfit, who have been monitoring him for the past 16 months.
Nuamah set to join Lyon
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Nuamah was on the verge of joining French giants Olympique Lyonnais in the summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old, who has been nominated for the 2023 Golden Boy award, is expected to arrive in France on Monday to finalize his move from FC Nordsjaelland.

Black Stars debutant, Ernest Nuamah has been nominated for the 2023 Golden Boy Award.
The 19-year-old has been included in the list of 100 best young players in the world for the award that is presented to the most outstanding U-21 player.
Nuamah will be competing with new Real Madrid signing, Jude Bellingham and Bayern Munich's youngster, Jamal Musiala for the top award.
