Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was involved in a hilarious exchange with a traffic warden after he flouted traffic rules.
Guardiola suffered some woes off the field after he left his car on a double yellow line.
The Spaniard was caught speaking to the warden on video before being handed a ticket. Moments later, the warden could be seen asking for a picture.
Since the whole incident took place in public, it was left bystanders in stitches, with everyone seeing the funny side.
Notably, Guardiola jokingly hit back at the warden by telling him he would also have to pay for a picture with him, as cited on TalkSport.
This was the second time Guardiola was involved in a hilarious engagement with a civilian in hours.
On Saturday, during the game against Newcastle United, an irate Guardiola briefly lost his head and hilariously asked a fan to come to the dugout to manage the team. This was after the fan wanted the gaffer to make certain substitutions during the game.
Julian Alvarez scored the game's only goal to give Manchester City all three points on the day. The Citizens are now one of only three sides in the league to claim maximum points, two games into the season.
After the game, Guardiola was full of praise for his team’s resilience, saying:
“The mindset and mentality of the players amazes me every time. The conditions with which we arrived, injuries and no rest, they played really well. The commitment was absolutely amazing.”
