Neymar has tasted what life in Saudi Arabia will feel like after he completed his switch from Paris Saint-Germain to Al-Hilal by flying in the world’s most expensive private plane.
When the 32-year-old Brazilian superstar travelled to Riyadh to complete his move to the Saudi Pro League club, Al-Hilal sent the private jet, which is worth over $200mil, to pick up the former Paris Saint-Germain star.
According to Sportskeeda, the 400-seater plane reportedly has a golden throne, several bedrooms, a dining room for 14 people, a top-floor lounge fit, plush seats and sofas, and other luxurious amenities.
The private jet is called the Flying Palace, and is a Boeing 747. It is heavily customised, and is owned by Saudi Crown Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. It was made available to Neymar by Al-Hilal.
Neymar, who signed a two-year deal with Al-Hilal, will reportedly make a $87,000 bonus for every win by the team, and $545,000 for every post or story he creates on social media that promotes Saudi Arabia.
Neymar arrives at Al-Hilal injured
Meanwhile, Al-Hilal fans may have to wait for another month to see Neymar in action after the Brazilian superstar turned up to the club injured, Football Transfers reports.
The 31-year-old forward was unveiled in front of 60,000 fans at the King Fahd International Stadium on Saturday amid much fanfare, but the club has now revealed that his debut might take some time due to his injury.
Al-Hilal expect Neymar to be fully fit by mid-September following the Brazilian’s latest injury setback, although he has been invited to the Brazilian national team for their upcoming international fixtures.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Neymar's move to Al-Hilal entails a staggering sum of between €200 million and €350mil over two years, placing him just behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema in terms of earnings.
His demands include having a Mercedes-Benz van on standby for his personal use or that of his family and friends.
The former Barcelona star also reportedly requested a Mercedes G-Class Wagon in his garage - a high-end SUV frequently favoured by footballers, amongst other expensive automobiles.
