As noted by The Citizen, Sundowns beat Chippa United 2-0 to remain top of the standings.
Aubrey Modiba opened the scoring for the reigning champions, while a Justice Chabalala own goal sealed the tie for Downs.
With Sundowns already winning their opening game in the MTN 8, fans believe the Brazilians already will go on to run away with the title again.
The Pretoria-based side won’t have it easy, as they enter their next few games with a handful of injuries. As noted by iDiski Times, Masandawana are without 10 of their players through injury.
