His latest outing was against recently-relegated Leicester City, who are seeking an instant bounce back to the Premier League.

The Foxes took the lead through Wanya Marcal-Madivadua in the 36th minute, but the moment of the first half was to come.

In first half stoppage time, Ramsey received a pass from 30 yards and he decided to attempt the audacious, with devastating effect as his powerful strike swerved into the back of the net to level matters.

Celebrations from the away end and Ramsey highlighted the quality of the goal, as the Welshman is known for scoring brilliant goals from distance, particularly from his days as a Gunner.

This was his fourth goal in 31 appearances for Cardiff City across three different spells, after stints with Arsenal, Juventus, Nice, Rangers and Nottingham Forest, as cited on Transfermkt.

It was a much-needed goal for Cardiff, who are still in search of their first league win of the season. However, the wait is set to continue as despite going into halftime on level terms, Leicester eventually found a winner in second half stoppage time courtesy of Cesare Casadel.
