Al Hilal are experiencing a rise in their jersey sales following the announcement of the arrival of Neymar as the club’s latest big-name signing.

The Saudi Pro League giants paid a whopping €90m plus €50m in variables to sign the 31-year-old forward from Paris Saint-Germain, with Neymar penning a two-year deal.

According to MARCA, subsequent to the official announcement of Neymar's transfer, Al Hilal revealed that close to 10,000 jerseys were snapped up online in a mere seven-hour span.

The jersey bearing the No.10 swiftly sold out within a matter of hours following his unveiling by the Saudi Pro League club as fans are delighted with the arrival of the Brazilian.

Neymar, who spent six years with Paris Saint-Germain, has arrived in Riyadh, and the Brazilian is expected to make his Al Hilal debut against Al Raed next Thursday.

Meanwhile, Neymar’s move to Saudi Arabia has not prevented the Al Hilal star from getting a call-up from the Brazilian national team ahead of their 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Vanguard reports that Brazil coach Fernando Diniz called up the 31-year-old forward and Vinicius Junior on Friday for the opening matches of the Selecao’s 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign.

The five-time World champions Brazil will launch their qualifying campaign against Bolivia on September 8 in Belem, in northern Brazil, then play Peru on September 12 in Lima.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Neymar got a celebrity welcome from Al Hilal supporters when he arrived in Saudi Arabia to kickstart the next phase of his career with Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal.

The 31-year-old forward parted ways with Paris Saint-Germain after six years in France to join the array of superstars who have moved to Saudi Arabia this summer.

When Neymar arrived in Riyadh, Al-Hilal fans flocked to the airport to greet the Brazilian superstar as he was given a hero’s welcome to the Middle East.
