Harry Kane makes Ballon d’Or claim

Meanwhile, Harry Kane has reckoned that he now has a higher chance of winning the Ballon d’Or after he joined Bayern Munich this summer from Tottenham Hotspur, Daily Post reports.

The 30-year-old attacker, who joined the Bavarians in a £100 million transfer, feels that winning trophies in Germany and in Europe can help him win the Ballon d'Or.

Bayern Munich won their 10th consecutive Bundesliga title last season, and the Bavarians hope that adding Kane to their squad will help them win the Champions League this season.

Saudi Arabia targeting Kane

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that the Saudi Pro League is confident of sealing deals for top footballers around the world and has placed Kylian Mbappe and Harry Kane at the top of their list of high-profile targets.

Neymar is the latest superstar to seal a deal with the SPL after he agreed to a two-year deal with Al-Hilal and will earn £129.4m a year in Saudi Arabia, which is six times the amount he earned at PSG.

SPL Sporting Director, Michael Emenalo has now reaffirmed that they have no plans to stop recruiting world-class players, with Kane and Mbappe their future targets.
