Lionel Messi has addressed concerns about is potential snub of Inter Miami games that will be played on artificial grass.
For nearly two decades, the 36-year old has gotten used to playing in some of the most exquisite stadia football has to offer from his time with Barcelona, Parris Saint Germain and his national team Argentina.
At the MLS, however, Messi is bound to run into unfamiliar territory as six of the clubs in the American league still use artificial turfs.
These clubs, as cited on The Mirror, are Seattle Sounders, Portland Timbers, Atlanta United, New England Revolution, Charlotte FC and Vancouver Whitecaps.

FootballWith Messi’s overall quality and status in football, reports were rife that the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner would sit out Inter Miami games that are played in these pitches.
But in his latest press conference, Messi quashed those reports as he also spoke on the hot weather in the state of Florida.
"I came from a month of vacation, more or less, and at first, it was difficult for me day to day," Messi said.
"It is very hot at this time, and there is a lot of humidity, and sometimes it shows, but the truth is that I adapted and I feel very comfortable.”
"Even though you never finish adapting to this climate because I talk to colleagues who have been here all their lives and still suffer from it. But I don't have any problem, and neither with the synthetic courts. I did all my inferiors on synthetic grass, it is true that it took a long time, but I have no problem adapting again".

FootballInter Miami will have to play two games on synthetic grass; one against Atlanta on September 16 and another one against Charlotte on October 21, according to GOAL.
