Their partnership was pivotal in Al-Nassr's historic victory in the regional competition.

Ronaldo - a former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus star - scored two crucial goals to orchestrate a remarkable comeback in the final against Al-Hilal, Fan Nation reports.

Although Mane did not find the net himself during the tournament, his relentless work ethic and tireless attitude contributed significantly to his team's triumph in the tournament.

Ronaldo's bromance with Mane

Images from the club's training sessions underscore the close friendship between these two renowned players, confirming their positive rapport as members of Al-Nassr.

In a video circulating on social media, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner was captured kissing Mane's forehead during one of their goal celebrations in the Arab Club Champions Cup.

Mane, a two-time African Player of the Year, previously imitated Ronaldo's iconic 'Siuuu' celebration as Al-Nassr players rallied to cheer on the Portuguese star after he scored a goal.

Ronaldo and Mane: What's next?

Having missed Al-Nassr's opening-day defeat to Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq, Ronaldo will look to combine with Mane, who broke his goal-scoring duck in the said fixture, according to GOAL.

Looking ahead, the duo is set to feature on August 18, when the Riyadh-based club welcomes Al Taawoun at Al-Awwal Park, aiming to overcome a slow start to their 2023/24 Saudi Pro League campaign.

Former coach compares Osimhen to Ronaldo

Sports Brief also reported on former Al-Nassr manager, Rudi Garcia, drawing similarities between Victor Osimhen and Ronaldo.

The Frenchman is currently coaching the Nigerian's Napoli after being shown the door by the Saudi Pro League club last season.

Garcia showered praise on his centre-forward while also noting the ethic he has in common with a star he previously coached.
