After six tubuklent years, Neynar's era at Paris Saint-Germain is over. The Brazilian completed his blockbuster move to Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal.
Before boarding a flight to Riyadh, the 31-year-old said his goodbyes to his former teammates at PSG's new training facility.
It was an emotional Thursday for Neymar as he shared a moment with the team, both players and staff. First, the players and staff said their collective goodbye to Neymar.
The former Barcelona man then shared a moment with each player and staff in the training ground. He was spotted sharing a moment with Kylian Mbappe, too, in a video released by the team.
Neymar played 173 games for PSG and won several trophies, including five Ligue 1 titles but failed to add to the single Champions League crown he won with Barca in 2015. He scored 118 goals and provided 77 assists for the French club, per Transfermarkt.
Ronaldinho's message to Neymar
Brazil legend Ronaldinho sent a beautiful message to Neymar after his move to Al-Hilal was complete.
He wished Neymar good luck as he embarks on a new adventure of his career.
The two wingers are regarded as the most exciting footballers of all time because of their flair on the pitch.
Comparing Ronaldo’s wages to Neymar’s
Sports Brief also compared Neymar's possible wages to Ronaldo's at Al-Nassr. The Brazilian will reportedly make €160mil in the two-year deal, but this is low compared to the Portuguese veteran.
The ex-Real Madrid star was tempted to the Saudi Pro League after leaving Manchester United before the 2022 World Cup, thanks in no small part to an extraordinary offer of £177.1mil per year.
The highest-paid footballers now play in the Saudi Pro League. More will follow before their transfer window closes on September 20.
