- Seko Fofana has praised Cristiano Ronaldo for his camaraderie at Al-Nassr
- The midfielder joined the Saudi club from RC Lens for €25 million last month
- Fofana is expected to make his Saudi Pro League debut against Al Taawoun
Seko Fofana has shed light on Cristiano Ronaldo's behaviour with his teammates at Al-Nassr.
The French-Ivorian, one of the four signings to join the Knights of Najd this summer, has hit the ground running at the Riyadh-based club, playing a pivotal role in the club's triumph in the 2023 Arab Club Champions Cup.
However, Fofana was given a well-deserved break when Al-Nassr faced Al-Ettifaq in their opening match of the Saudi Pro League season on August 14.
Ronaldo's absence, along with that of newcomers Fofana, Alex Telles, and Marcelo Brozovic, was keenly felt as they lost against Steven Gerrard's charges, per GOAL.
Fofana describes being Ronaldo's teammate
After spending nearly four weeks with the club, the French-Ivorian midfielder has revealed the genuine camaraderie Ronaldo shares with his teammates.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is very likeable and simple. In the evenings, we talk about everything, nutrition, work, and life in general. You find yourself talking with Cristiano. It's hilarious," the 31-year-old said, as quoted by @CristianoXtra_ on social media.
Fofana also commended the former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus player for his unwavering work ethic, even after achieving five remarkable Ballon d'Or awards.
“We're amazed to see how long his career has been, and you soon understand, seeing him work, why he's still so strong at 38. When he's not in the gym, he doesn't feel good. It's crazy being so demanding after five Ballons d'Or.”
Meanwhile, Fofana and Ronaldo are expected to rejoin Luis Castro's line-up as Al-Nassr faces Al Taawoun at Al-Awwal Park on August 18.
