From fancy nutmegs, rainbow flicks, and colourful hairstyles to pure, unadulterated flair, Neymar is one of football's greatest entertainers.

When you name the greatest Brazilian footballers, names like Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Pele, Romario, and Ronaldinho pop up. Neymar is another name that is always mentioned, but in the era of social media, he is a polarizing figure.

You can criticize him for his decisions on and off the pitch, but the 31-year-old is undeniably one of the best players of his generation.

After leaving Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 for a world record fee, some forgot about Neymar, ridiculing him for joining a "farmers' league." He vanquished Ligue 1, bamboozling defenders, scoring screamers, and lifting titles.

Six years on, it seems his adventure in France is over. Injuries and fan hostility have become too much for the samba boy. He is set to become Al-Hilal's newest signing. Sports Brief looks at Neymar's greatest goals of his career.

Neymar's top 5 goals

Neymar has scored over 350 goals, and most of them are not your ordinary goal. He has plenty of iconic goals, one of which won him a FIFA Puskas Award in 2011. Here are his 5 best goals so far.

5. PSG vs. Strasbourg, 2019/20, Ligue 1

Neymar's time with PSG has been turbulent, but his stoppage-time acrobatic bicycle kick in September 2019 against Strasbourg will go down in the history books. His relationship with the fans ahead of the match was rocky. He was booed by the PSG supporters due to his efforts to force a move away from the Parc des Princes in the summer of 2019.

4. Brazil vs. Japan, 2013 Confederations Cup

The former Barcelona man is tied with Pele for the most goals in Brazil's history, with 77. In 2013, he scored a peach of a goal in the Confederations Cup. The 5-time World Cup champions kicked off the tournament against Japan, and it took three minutes for Neymar to score.

He took a deft chested pass from Fred on the edge of the 18-yard box and blasted a right-footed shot into the upper right-hand corner of the net.

3. Santos vs Internacional, 2012 Copa Libertadores

Before moving to Europe, Neymar was humiliating defenders in South America with Santos. He picked the ball in his own half, drove at Internacional the defence, and by the time he was just outside the 18-yard box, three defenders surrounded him.

His quick feet helped him leave the defenders for dead before he scored past the helpless goalie. His team ended up winning 3-1.

2. Barcelona vs. Villarreal, 2015/16 La Liga

In November 2015, Neymar scored one of Barcelona's greatest-ever goals. After receiving the ball from Luis Suarez, the Brazilian superstar flicked it up over his shoulder and over a defender before volleying past Villareal goalkeeper Alphonse Areola from just inside the area.

1. Santos vs. Flamengo, 2011 Brasileiro Serie A

This is Neymar's greatest-ever goal. He won the third edition of the Puskás Award for the goal for Santos.

He picked up the ball close to the halfway line; the energetic forward waltzed past two opposing players and exchanged passes with Borges before jinking past Ronaldo Angelim and lifting the ball deftly over the oncoming Felipe. It was a magical goal.

Al-Hilal perks for Neymar

Sports Brief earlier reported on the several perks and financial incentives Neymar is set to receive when his move to Al-Hilal is finalized.

In addition to a hefty paycheck, the Brazilian star will receive more perks. For instance, he will get a private plane and a sprawling mansion with dedicated staff to cater to his needs.

In addition, he will receive astonishing financial bonuses and incentives, including reportedly receiving a significant bonus of €80,000 for each Al-Hilal victory.
