- The Hammers are reportedly growing increasingly impatient with Manchester United
- Maguire is reportedly taking too long to agree on an exit from Old Trafford amid an impending £30m move
Harry Maguire’s move to West Ham is reportedly off, according to stunning new reports.
West Ham were intent on signing the England international for £30 million, and there was an initial agreement with United.
It was now up to Maguire to agree on an exit with the club, something that is yet to happen as at Tuesday, August 15.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano recently reported that United are reluctant to let Maguire go until they can negotiate a replacement.
At the moment, United have Benjamin Pavard and Jean-Clair Dimitri Roger Todibo on their radar, with the latter being a slight favourite to move to Old Trafford.
Maguire was named as a substitute in United’s last game - a controversial 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers, further fuelling speculation that he could be part of Ten Hag's plans.
According to a report on The Guardian, West Ham have pulled out of the deal after 'growing tired of waiting' for Maguire to exit from United.
The 30-year-old defender, who still has two years on his United contract is subject to a pay-out, should he agree to leave the club, per Sky Sports.
He has fallen out of favour under Erik Ten Hag, and the West Ham move was largely seen as an opportunity to get regular first-team football.
