The Saudi Pro League is confident of sealing a deal for top footballers around the world and has placed Kylian Mbappe and Harry Kane on top of their list of high-profile targets.
Neymar is the latest superstar to seal a deal with the SPL after agreeing on a two-year deal with Al Hilal and will earn £129.4m a year in Saudi Arabia which is six times the amount he earned at PSG.
According to Sport Bible, SPL Sporting Director Michael Emenalo has now reaffirmed that they have no plans to stop recruiting world-class players, with Kane and Mbappe their future targets.
"I would love to have Kylian Mbappe here, and I would love to have Harry Kane here. The league would like to have all the top players.
“And I think it will be at the heart of this whole particular strategy: it is that, in a couple of years, in a few short years, this will become a league for exceptional players only.”
Mbappe was the subject of a world-record £259 million bid from Al Hilal earlier this summer while Kane recently signed for Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich on a 3-year deal.
SPL targeting top managers
Meanwhile, Saudi Pro League recruitment boss, Michael Emenalo, claims top-tier managers such as Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola and Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp are also on the agenda, Tribal Football reports.
Guardiola and Klopp have both expressed concern over the spending of SPL clubs this summer after they raided major European clubs, which has seen the likes of Riyad Mahrez, Sadio Mane, and Karim Benzema join Saudi teams.

Mbappe rejects record Al Hilal bid
Earlier, Sports Brief reported Kylian Mbappe has firmly declined any negotiations with Al-Hilal, making it clear that he is committed to his chosen path for the future, despite a highly tempting bid from the Saudi club.
Al-Hilal sent shockwaves through the football world by putting forward a staggering €300 million offer to Paris Saint-Germain in their pursuit of Mbappe.
The proposed deal entails a one-year contract for the French football star, which includes an eye-watering salary of €700 million.
