Manchester United are scheduled to face Wolves on Monday night, August 14, in their opening game of the new Premier League season.
The Red Devils will be heading into the match off a mixed pre-season campaign that saw Erik ten Hag's charges breathe hot and cold.
United will be desperate to use the Wolves clash to send an EPL title statement, with the Dutch coach keen to help the Red Devils challenge for the crown.
The Manchester club sealed a third-place finish last season behind rivals, Arsenal and Manchester City, who were crowned the champions.
Ten Hag will no doubt be looking to build on that, having already made three major summer signings in the shape of Rasmus Hojlund, Andre Onana, and Mason Mount, the latter of which joined from Chelsea.

Given the significance of the match, United's Dutch coach will be keen to parade a strong team to get his side off a winning start.
According to 90min, ten Hag is likely to settle for a 4-3-3 formation, with Onana making his Premier League bow between the sticks.
Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez are expected to partner at the heart of defence, with Diogo Dalot and Luke Shaw playing on either flank.
Mount and Casemiro are likely to start together in the middle of the park, with Bruno Fernandes, who is the club's new captain, playing in a more advanced role.
New signing, Hojlund, is not match fit, per The Mirror, meaning he will not be available to lead the line.
