The 38-year-old exhibited a vintage display by engineering a compelling resurgence for Luis Castro's squad after falling behind early in the second half.

The former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus forward first equalized with a well-timed tap-in, connecting flawlessly with a cross from the right flank.

He then sealed the victory with a striker's instinct, capitalizing on a rebound to grant Al-Nassr the lead and ultimate triumph.

The victory in the regional competition held profound significance for the Riyadh-based powerhouse as they secured their first-ever tournament trophy. For Ronaldo, it represented a pivotal moment, ending his two-year quest for a title, Al Arabiya reports.

Following the game and trophy presentation, the team embarked on their journey back to Riyadh, their home base.

However, a notable highlight from their trip has captured the attention of many.

While on the team bus, Ronaldo's teammates chose to honour their star forward with a special gesture, serenading him with a spirited chant, an expression of appreciation for his extraordinary contributions.

Ronaldo sets new record

The veteran Portuguese chalked a new milestone in his glistening career during Al-Nassr's victory against Al-Hilal in the Arab Cup final.

His headed goal, which won them the trophy, saw him usurp Bayern Munich great Gerd Muller as the player with the most headed goal in the history of football – 145.

Ronaldo ranked best in Saudi

Sports Brief also reported the Portuguese veteran is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in football history, regardless of his current stint in the Saudi Pro League.

Numerous star players have transitioned from European football to the Saudi Pro League during the summer transfer window. However, Ronaldo ranks as the best of all.
