FootballLionel Messi Crashes Two Opponent Players Together With Sublime Piece of Skill, Video
- Lionel Messi embarrassed two Charlotte FC players by crashing them together on August 12
- Messi scored his eighth goal to become the record goalscorer of the Leagues Cup
- He had a rather quiet night by his standards but still managed to pull off a marvellous trick
Lionel Messi has settled in so perfectly to his new life in the United States, weeks after making the decision to snub a mega offer from Saudi Arabia and a potential fairytale return to Barcelona.
So perfect has he been that he is already the record goalscorer of the Leagues Cup, having scored eight times in his first five appearances for Inter Miami.
His latest goal came on August 11 when he left it late to round off a 4-0 victory over Charlotte FC as his side ensured progression to the semi-finals. The Argentine is now just 90 minutes away from reaching his first final with his new side.
Against Charlotte, Messi continued to dazzle fans and opponents alike, leaving players in a heap of embarrassment with sublime pieces of skills.
Messi's piece of skill
At one point, the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner escaped a challenge from two players using a quick body feint, resulting in the players crashing into each other as Messi glided away.
For a player whose every move has been celebrated wildly since his arrival, that skill was cheered by fans at the DRV PNK stadium and on social media as well.

"This is so satisfying to watch; a little drop of the shoulder and he's gone."
Inter Miami will now face Philadelphia Union in the semifinals and one of Monterrey or Nashville FC in the final if they make it through.
Messi's devious tactic spotted

FootballLionel Messi's free kicks are so good that the manager of his latest victim, FC Dallas - Nico Estévez - avers that Messi taking a free kick is almost the same as any other player taking a penalty: the likelihood of it going in is greater than him missing.
Some may ask what tricks the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner uses. While his ability on dead balls is unrivalled, a new video suggests that maybe the former Barcelona man uses underhanded tactics at times.
