Sadio Mane has shared his excitement after playing a role in Al-Nassr's Arab Club Champions Cup success on Saturday.
The former Liverpool forward contributed to a comeback victory over Al-Hilal, despite his team playing most of the game with 10 men.
Cristiano Ronaldo netted both goals for the Knights of Najd to ensure they won their first title before the opening game of the Saudi Pro League.
Mane, who joined the team last week, played three matches in the competition and won the penalty that helped them reach the last round.
After the victory, the Senegalese international praised Ronaldo and his teammates for their achievement.
"It’s all about this, well done boys," the 31-year-old wrote on Twitter.
Ronaldo, who won the golden boot at the conclusion of the tournament with six goals, also expressed gratitude to the club and the fans.
"Extremely proud to [have] helped the team [win] this important trophy for the 1st time! Thank you to everyone in the club that was involved in this great achievement and to my family and friends for always being by my side! Fantastic support by our fans! This also belongs to you!" he posted on Twitter.
Al-Nassr have since shifted their attention to the Saudi Pro League, where they were defeated by Al-Ettifaq in the first match of the 2023/24 season.
