Other footballers often use the Portuguese superstar’s trademark celebration, and now it’s made its way to South Africa.

Orlando Pirates’ Zakhele Lepasa hit the famous Siuuu celebration as he scored the team’s opening goal against Sekhukhune United in the MTN 8.

The defending champions took the lead after Patrick Maswanganyi pressured the Sekhukhune defence into a mistake and set up Lepasa.

The Bafana striker made no mistake from close range and then celebrated in style, breaking out the Siuuu.

Lepasa then grabbed another goal in the second half, as he was in the right place at the right time. Monnapule Saleng smashed a ball into the goalpost, rebounding into the path of Lepasa, who didn’t need to do anything.

His second goal meant that he has now scored four goals in just two games after scoring a brace against Royal AM in the DStv Premiership.

It's not the first time that Lepasa has used his celebration to pay tribute to an icon. After scoring for Bafana Bafana, he broke out Clive Barker’s trademark celebration to honour the former coach.
