Sadio Mane and Kalidou Koulibaly set aside a moment just before the kickoff of the Arab Club Champions Cup final between Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr, sharing a touching interaction.
Mane and his Senegalese compatriot were part of the group of prominent players who opted for Saudi Arabia over Europe in the summer transfer window.
The former Liverpool standout, Mane, made his way to Al-Nassr after an unsatisfactory stint with Bayern Munich. Similarly, the stalwart defender, Koulibaly, encountered a comparable situation at Chelsea but chose a different path, signing with Al-Hilal in Riyadh, The Independent Ghana reports.
Meeting on the field for the first time since transitioning to the Gulf region, the duo faced off in the 2023 Arab Cup final, held at the King Fahd Stadium in Ta'if on Saturday, August 12, per Sportsadda.
Just before the match commenced, they momentarily set aside their competition to exchange a warm embrace and engage in a lighthearted conversation.

With Koulibaly set to meet his Senegalese teammate, Sadio Mane, and veteran, Cristiano Ronaldo, the 31-year-old remains unfazed.
