Harry Kane has sent Tottenham fans an emotional farewell message after sealing a stunning summer move to Bayern Munich.

The Bundesliga giants forked out an eyewatering £100million to land the services of the Tottenham all-time top scorer.

According to Sky Sports, Kane had his medical at Bayern on Friday, August 11, before sealing the move officially on Saturday.

It is understood that the England international had the first part of his medical at Barmherzige Bruder hospital in west Munich, with his second happening at Bayern's Sabener Strasse training centre.

Kane's departure ends the uncertainty that was surrounding his future at the north London club as the new season gets underway.

Kane's message to fans

The star forward has now taken to social media to send Tottenham fans an emotional farewell message, with the Englishman admitting he is sad to be leaving.

“Hi everyone. I wanted to be the first to tell you Tottenham fans that I'll be leaving the club today,"Kane said in a video posted on his social media.

“Obviously [there are] a lot of emotions going through me right now. Sad to be leaving the club I've spent nearly 20 years of my life at.

“From an 11-year-old boy to a 30-year-old man now, there's been so many great moments and special memories. Memories that I'll cherish forever," he continued.

Kane is said to have penned a £415,000-a-week four-year contract.
