Bayern Munich’s goalkeeper crisis has led the Bundesliga champions to enquire about signing Spanish goalie Kepa Arrizabalaga from English Premier League club Chelsea.

Bayern’s situation is rather desperate with Manuel Neuer's injury that could keep him out until 2024, Yann Sommer being sold to Milan, and Alexander Nubel being loaned to VfB Stuttgart.

According to SB Nation, Thomas Tuchel is planning a reunion with Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga at the Allianz Arena following the German club’s goalkeeping crisis.

The Bavarians have already submitted a bid for the 28-year-old goalkeeper, seeking to sign him on loan with an option of a permanent transfer to the Bundesliga champions.

Bayern are set to continue talks with Chelsea for Kepa to finalise the deal for the Spaniard, although Real Madrid have entered the race to sign the Blues goalkeeper after Thibaut Courtois’ injury.

Pochettino to start Kepa

Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino is not ready to let go of Kepa Arrizabalaga this summer as the new Chelsea manager has hinted the Spaniard will be in goal against Liverpool this Sunday, The Chelsea Chronicle reports.

The Blues have bought Robert Sanchez from Brighton & Hove Albion, but Pochettino has suggested that Kepa would start when his team hosts Jurgen Klopp's squad at Stamford Bridge for their Premier League opening.

Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are queueing up to sign the 28-year-old goalkeeper as both clubs are desperate to land a shot-stopper before the 2023/24 league season starts.

Kepa shows off dance moves

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Kepa Arrizabalaga was the best dancer at his wedding as he showed off smooth dance moves in the presence of friends and families in Marbella.

Kepa tied the knot with girlfriend and Miss Universe Spain 2020 winner, Andrea Martinez yesterday, months after the pair announced their engagement in September.

The Spanish goalkeeper showed another side of him on the day when he stepped into the arena with his wife and was clearly the best dancer.
