Boateng considers retirement

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that former Ghana midfielder, Kevin-Prince Boateng, remains undecided over his future in the game despite earlier announcing the recent season would be his last.

The 36-year-old's contract with his boyhood club, Hertha Berlin, expired in June and left him as a free agent to join any team of his choice this summer.

According to the veteran midfielder, he is now reconsidering his retirement decision and will release a statement about his future later this month.

Amartey reveals Boateng's role in move

Black Stars defender, Daniel Amartey has disclosed that he had to consult former Ghana teammates, Kevin Prince Boateng and Bernard Mensah before joining Besiktas.

The ex-Leicester City centre-back joined the Turkish giants in the summer transfer window on a three-year deal.

Amartey, who won the English Premier League and the FA Cup with Leicester City, is buzzing to make his debut after being named in the squad to face KF Tirana in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers.
