Michael Olunga has opened his goal account in the Qatar Stars League after he found the back of the net during Al Duhail's 2-0 win over Al Rayyan on Sunday evening, February 14.
Olunga doubled his side's lead in the 73rd minute of the match, adding to Isameel Mohammed's first half opener.
The Harambee Stars striker scored the home side's second goal just minutes after he was introduced as a substitute in the second half of the encounter.
Despite their dominance, Duhail had to wait until the 37th minute to break the deadlock, with Mohammed claiming credit for the goal after he steered the ball past a helpless Saj Al Hajiri who was between the sticks for Rayyan.
Mohammed Muntari went close twice as Duhail hunted for the second, but the forward fluffed both chances to leave his side on the edge.
Olunga had a near instant impact shortly after his introduction, but had to wait until the 73rd to bag his first goal in the league as Sabri Lamouchi's men strolled to victory.
The win was enough to cement Duhail's place in second on the log and now trail leaders Al Sadd by 13 points after 16 rounds of matches.

The win came just days after a poor outing during the just concluded FIFA Club World Cup - a tournament which was won by Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich.
Meanwhile, Olunga will be looking to continue his impressive form infront of goal for a chance to nail a permanent place in Lamouchi's team.
