Neymar Jr. appears to be on a quest to find an immediate solution for his future after the forward was informed by PSG’s hierarchy that he was not going to be a part of Luis Enrique’s plans this season.
The Brazilian forward has consistently remained a subject of controversy and was named amongst the list of potential replacements Barcelona could explore following the imminent departure of Ousmane Dembele.
Joan Laporta’s decision to shift attention to the former star, who departed the club in the most controversial of circumstances, has not gone down well with many at the club, with head coach Xavi Hernandez spearheading the group of those who are displeased.
However, recent reports on Twitter state that the Barcelona coach has now agreed to a return for the forward.

Barcelona’s financial situation has been an elephant in the room whenever the club goes to the negotiation table for any player. It is no secret that acquiring the services of a player like Neymar would come with a great financial hit for the club.
Nonetheless, reports from Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte could suggest that Barcelona get their man this summer.
Luis Campos clearly stated to the player that he is no longer desired at the club. He also does not have a suitor ready to meet the club’s ₤150 million asking price- and so the player's contract could possibly be rescinded.
If this is to go ahead, Neymar would relinquish a good portion of earnings until 2027, which is estimated at $50 million a year.
