Paris Saint-Germain could lose their best assets for nothing in the next few months. Kylian Mbappe could walk for free next summer, and the club could reportedly terminate Neymar's contract.
The Brazilian reportedly told the club he wants to leave the club this summer, meaning they could lose two of the best football stars in the world this summer.
The 31-year-old has three years left to run on his £25 million-a-year contract at the club, which is in a protracted contract standoff with Mbappe. Lionel Messi also left for free earlier this summer.
Neymar's six seasons with the club have been hugely underwhelming, considering the French champions paid a world record 222 million euros to acquire him from Barcelona in 2017. He has missed over 100 games due to injuries, which have affected his performances and impact.
Could PSG cancel Neymar's contract?
According to Football Espana, there is interest in Neymar from Saudi Pro League clubs, but an offer is yet to be presented. If there's no interest, PSG could terminate his contract. Multiple reports have linked him with Barcelona, but the Spanish side could find it difficult to purchase him due to their financial woes.
The Ligue 1 champions will listen to offers for the winger and will consider offers between £50 million and £80 million depending on the buyer, according to Sky Sports.
Neymar has won five Ligue 1 trophies with PSG but is yet to bring the coveted Champions League crown to Parc des Princes.
