Giroud said: “Of course it is frustrating. Today, I feel like there is no competition since January."
“It is like that, I know that I will only play in the Europa League and I will try to do everything I can to be as effective and decisive as possible for the team," he added.
Giroud, who signed a one and half year deal from Arsenal in 2018 was linked with a move to Marseille last year.
The 32-year-old last played in Ligue 1 with former side Montpellier in 2012 but any move could be complicated by a one-year transfer ban imposed by FIFA.

“The future could be hectic this summer,” he told French radio station RTL.
“I am not scared of going down a level to have more playing time. It could be that I end my career in France," he discosed.
He has scored 33 goals in 87 games for Chelsea and admits Euro 2020 is set to be his final major tournament wearing his national colours.
