Legendary Harambee Stars striker Dennis Oliech has advised Michael Olunga to make a move to Qatar amid KSh 890 million bid from Al Duhail SC.
Olunga, who currently turns out for Kashiwa Reysol has enjoyed a significant rise to fame in recent months, thanks to his impressive form in the recently concluded Japanese top-flight campaign.
The Kenyan international ended the season as the top scorer in his maiden appearance in the league to cart home the prestigious Golden Boot award.
TUKO.co.ke reported the ex-Gor Mahia star found the back of the net 28 times in 34 J 1 League to emerge highest goalscorer.
His goal heroics also saw him become the first African footballer to be voted Most Valuable Player in the league.
However, far from the accolades, his lethal finishing has seen him court interest from a number of clubs who are now salivating for his services.
Key among them is Al Duhail SC, with reports suggesting the Qatar-based club are willing to fork out a mouthwatering €7million (about KSh 890 million) to capture his services.
The move, TUKO.co.ke understands, could have Olunga double his earnings to about KSh 14 million per month.
And Oliech, who once plied his trade in Qatar during his active playing days believes Olunga should not turn down the offer.

FootballAccording to the former Auxerre star, the football engineer should "pick these offers" before he enters the twilight years of his career.
The former Harambee Stars captain, however, advised Olunga to find the right agent to help him broker the deal.
“I haven’t talked to him (Olunga) but heard he has another good offer from Qatar. I encourage him to pick up these offers because he is (almost) 27 and not 22. He has about four or five years remaining at the top level. It is time for him to make good money,” Nation Sport quoted Oliech saying.
“He will have to get a strong agent and negotiate a good contract," he noted.
