Arsenal beat Manchester City on August 6 in the Community Shield at Wembley Stadium to claim the first silverware of the new season.

The match, which is often used as a curtain raiser for the upcoming season, was decided on post-match penalties after Leandro Trossard equalized proceedings right at the death.

Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri missed their spot-kicks to gift Mikel Arteta his first win over Pep Guardiola in nine attempts.

Whilst the Community Shield isn't necessarily classified as a major trophy, the Gunners will take the win as they seek to go toe to toe with Manchester City again for the Premier League title.

Arsenal players' cars 2023

After the game and celebrations, the players were spotted leaving the Stadium in their fancy cars. In a video shared on Twitter by @sjayy24s, the players were seen trooping out one after the other with Ben White and Thomas Partey's taste in cars, particularly catching fans' attention.

Ben White rolled in a white Rolls Royce while Partey drove a black one. The Ghanaian featured for the entire 90 minutes against Manchester City despite concerns that new signing, Declan Rice, might usurp him.

Eddie Nketiah and Nuno Tavares were spotted driving Lamborghinis. The majority of the players, led by sidelined striker Gabriel Jesus drove Mercedes cars. Goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, Emile Smith Rowe, new signing Jurrien Timber and Bukayo Saka were the other players with Mercedes. Skipper Martin Odegaard drove an Audi alongside Kieran Tierney and Leandro Trossard.

Arsenal open their Premier League campaign on Saturday against Nottingham Forrest at the Emirates Stadium.

Chelsea players' cars 2023

Sports Brief has also previously reported that a beautiful video online showed the type of cars owned by a couple of Chelsea players as they presumably left their Cobham training base.

Professional players always make headlines with their state-of-the-art car collections and with Chelsea's players being among the best-paid players in the world, it is no different.

Top-earner Raheem Sterling drove out in his Mercedes Benz G-class, while Cesar Azpilicueta, who has since departed, drove a Mercedes Benz AMG GT63s.

Inside Arsenal's penalty tricks

Post-match penalties in football are usually anyone's game. It is the one aspect of the game where it doesn't matter how well-prepared you are or what kind of stars you have at your disposal. It is always down to withholding pressure and a little bit of luck.

Arsenal players, the four who stepped up to take the penalties in the Community Shield, appeared to have a pattern. If it was two players, one could pass it off as a coincidence. But all four players repeating the same 'trick'? It appeared rehearsed - straight from the training ground.
