Mohammed Kudus appears unhappy at Ajax as the midfielder pushes for a move away from the Dutch club in the summer transfer window.

The Black Stars midfielder has been linked with a move to the English Premier League, with Brighton and Hove Albion reportedly agreeing a deal to sign the 23-year-old.

With the move yet to be finalised, the Ghana international could be forced to stay in the Eredivisie if all parties do not meet the agreed terms.

During the club's squad presentation on Wednesday, Kudus arrived looking moody, suggesting the player wants to leave this month, as spotted on social media.

Kudus joined Ajax in the summer of 2020 from Danish outfit FC Nordsjaelland and has since been a key player for the Dutch giants. Last season, the Right to Dream Academy graduate scored 18 goals and provided seven assists across all competitions for Ajax.

In his three years in Holland, Kudus has won two Dutch Eredivisie titles and one KNVB Cup.

There are also reports linking him to a reunion with former manager Erik yen Hag at Manchester United, as reported by caughtoffside.com.

Kudus set to join Brighton

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Brighton and Hove Albion have reached an agreement to sign Ghanaian attacking midfielder, Mohammed Kudus in the summer transfer window.

The 23-year-old is closing in on a dream move to the English Premier League from Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam.

Kudus is expected to sign a deal worth around €40million, which will make him Brighton's record signing, surpassing the amount paid for Joao Pedro.

Hughton on Kudus EPL interest

Ghana's national coach, Chris Hughton, has stated that he is not surprised by the number of clubs showing interest in midfielder, Mohammed Kudus.

The Ajax star has reportedly been on the radar of several teams in England, including Manchester United and Chelsea.

Brighton and Hove Albion have also shown interest in the versatile attacking midfielder, who can also play as a forward.
