Manchester United have granted Erik ten Hag's request to have a player's lounge at Old Trafford. The lounge is located in the south area of the Stadium, which has been known as the Sir Bobby Charlton stand.
The area is just adjacent to the home club's dressing room and ten Hag intends to have his players relax and eat there as they prepare for games.
As Manchester Evening News reports, previous managers, Louis Van Gaal and Jose Mourinho asked for a similar establishment, but their requests were denied.
It was one of ten Hag's requests as soon as he took over last summer, with the space taking over 12 months to be ready. It was ready last weekend as the Red Devils beat RC Lens in their second-last preseason game.

FootballLast season, the Dutch tactician put an end to the practice where players would spend the night at the Lowry Hotel before a home game. Instead, they would arrive at Old Trafford earlier and use suite 7. The drawback to this plan was they had to vacate 90 minutes before kick-off as hospitality guests trooped in.
Ten Hag wanted a dedicated space just for his players, with the club hierarchy approving the plan.
This follows the introduction of new policies since his appointment last summer. The former Ajax manager banned the use of cell phones during mealtimes and the meals must be taken as a group.
He has since come up with a strict dress code which both players and staff are supposed to turn up in. The dress code, which is down to details like the colour of socks to be worn, is emailed the previous night. No one is allowed to wear flip-flops, as Talk Sport reports.
