Golden Boy Nominee Ernest Nuamah Scoops Double Award in Denmark

Ghanaian forward, Ernest Nuamah has won the Player of the Month and the Young Player for July in the Danish Superliga.

The talented teenager scooped both awards after a sensational start to the new season in Denmark.

Nuamah netted a hat-trick on the opening day as FC Nordsjaelland thrashed Viborg before helping his side beat AGF in the second game.

The Right to Dream Academy graduate also won the goal of the week with his stunning curler against Viborg.

"Player of the month Young player of the month Before yesterday's game, Ernest Nuamah was honored for a great month of July in Superliga," wrote the club on social media.

The youngster continued his impressive run in the new season with a goal and an assist in the month of August.

"Back at it craving new challenges. Asafo boy chasing growth, one challenge at a time. Growth never stops. There's a world of challenges out there. Point me to the starting line,' an excited Nuamah posted on Twitter.

Following a good start to the season, the golden boy nominee has been attracting interest from several clubs, with Ajax being the latest to inquire about his availability.

Nuamah scores Messi-esque freekick

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghanaian forward Ernest Nuamah continued his rich run of form in the new Danish Superliga season after scoring a Messi-esque freekick in FC Nordsjaelland's victory over Brondby.

The talented left-footed attacker curled home from outside the box to give his side the lead in the second half of their 3-1 win at the Right to Dream Park.

Nuamah nominated for Golden Boy award

Black Stars debutant, Ernest Nuamah has been nominated for the 2023 Golden Boy award.

The 19-year-old has been included in the list of 100 best young players in the world for the award that is presented to the most outstanding U-21 player.

Nuamah will be competing with new Real Madrid signing, Jude Bellingham and Bayern Munich's youngster, Jamal Musiala for the top award.
