Kyra joined FFV NTC (Football Federation Victoria National Training Centre) in Melbourne at age 13. The place trains Victorian youth players. A year later, she participated in trials for the Mini Matildas.

The midfielder spent three years at Ballarat City under coach Tessa Curtain from 2013 to 2016. She then scored six goals in the 2017 AFC U-16 Women's Championship qualifications for a spot at the Junior Matildas (Australian women's national under-17 soccer team).

In the 2018/19 season, the player was part of Ballarat City's W-League winning squad. Following her inclusion in the 2019 AFC U-19 Women's Championship qualifiers, Kyra was allowed to accompany Leah Blayney's Young Matildas squad to France for the 2019 AFC U-19 Women's Championship.

She later transferred to the Western Sydney Wanderers for the 2019/20 W-League season. By Kyra's customary style, the midfielder scored a goal on her inaugural appearance and ultimately secured the triumph through a well-executed free-kick in the 92nd minute.
