  • Bayern Munich are not ready to give up their pursuit of Harry Kane
  • The Bundesliga champions are ready to make a fourth bid for the Tottenham captain
  • Kane has one year left on his Tottenham contract and remains Bayern’s preferred option

Bayern Munich are set to return with a fourth bid for Harry Kane after previously having three bids for the England forward rejected by Tottenham this summer.

The Bundesliga champions are desperate to add a marquee striker to their ranks after the position became vacant following the departure of Sadio Mane to Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.

According to Goal, Bayern are set to return with a fourth bid for Kane which will be in the region of €110 million for the 30-year-old forward who has one year left on his contract.

Thomas Tuchel is determined to add Kane to his current squad as he is an admirer of the Tottenham striker and wants him at the Allianz Arena this season.

However, Kane wants the issue surrounding his future to be resolved this week as the Bavarians believe the fourth bid will finally be enough to lure the England forward away from North London.

Kane expects Tottenham stay

Meanwhile, Harry Kane is leaning towards staying at Tottenham this summer after Bayern Munich's third bid was rejected by the North London club last week, Evening Standard reports.

Kane has reportedly been impressed by the concept of new Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou and has loved working under the Greek-Australian in pre-season.

Tottenham turned down Bayern’s third bid for Kane on Monday, which the Premier League club understood to be some way short of their valuation of their record goalscorer.

Bayern sets deadline for Tottenham

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Harry Kane’s immediate future has been subject to speculation all summer after the forward entered the final year of his contract at Premier League club Tottenham Hotspurs.

Clubs in England and across Europe have not hidden their interest in signing Kane, with the forward previously linked with a move to Spanish giant Real Madrid, amongst other clubs, earlier in June.

The Spanish club’s interest in the forward seemingly cooled, but it is the interest of Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich which seems to have got Daniel Levy and others in the London club hierarchy apprehensive, and the forward would relish a move to the Bundesliga club.
