  • Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly willing to offload Neymar this summer
  • The Parisians have set a minimum amount they plan on selling Neymar
  • Chelsea and Barcelona have been linked with a summer move for the Brazilian

Paris Saint-Germain are willing to count their losses on Neymar as the reigning Ligue 1 champions are ready to offload the Brazilian superstar before the transfer window closes.

The Ligue 1 champions shelled out a world-record fee of £200mil in 2017 when they bought the Brazilian from Barcelona, but after seven years, the Parisians feel it is time to let the 31-year-old leave.

According to Goal, PSG will listen to offers between £50m and £80m for Neymar as they continue their plan to restructure the club by selling off their unwanted players this summer.

Barcelona, the Spanish champions, and the Premier League giants Chelsea have been mentioned as probable destinations if Neymar does leave PSG this summer despite his contract deal set to expire in 2025.

Neymar has won five Ligue 1 titles since moving to PSG, but the French club’s supporters have heavily criticised the 31-year-old forward for his lack of commitment to the club.

Neymar wants to leave PSG

Neymar wants out of Paris Saint-Germain as the Brazilian forward is open to a return to Barcelona this summer after seven years with the Parisian club, Sky Sports reports.

The 31-year-old dribbling wizard won seven trophies across four years in Catalunya, scored 105 goals, and finished third in Ballon d'Or voting twice with the reigning La Liga champions.

Neymar’s father has, however, denied his son, who missed a chunk of last season after suffering an ankle injury in February that forced his season to end early, wants to quit the Parisians this summer.

Neymar unhappy with PSG's ultras

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that back in May, Neymar faced a distressing situation when he was confronted by numerous PSG ultras outside his residence, urging him to depart from the club.

Neymar expressed discontent over what he perceives as PSG's failure to adequately protect their players, with the aforementioned incident being a significant example.

The renowned former Santos player has gone as far as questioning his participation in the Ligue 1 champions' opening match against Lorient at the Parc des Princes on Saturday, raising doubts about his commitment to the team's defence of their title.
