KwaZulu-Natal is known as the Kingdom of the Zulu for a reason.
The province lived up to that name when it played host to the DStv Premiership fixture between Kaizer Chiefs and Chippa United.
The fixture itself wasn’t action-packed, but the entertainment before certainly was. A Zulu dancer provided entertainment to the packed stadium before the game, however, it was traditional with a twist.
Video from the stadium showed a white Zulu dancer getting the crowd pumped up for the game, entertaining fans with some traditional dancing. The crowd loved the action and cheered on the whole performance.

FootballSadly, despite the dancer preparing the crowd for the big game, it failed to live up to the hype.
As noted by iDiski Times, the two sides played out to a 0-0 draw.
Neither side looked threatening as Chippa only had four shots on target while Chiefs had three. The draw was more disappointing for the Amakhosi, who have failed to win any of their last eight opening games of the season.
Kaizer Chiefs have started the 2023/24 DStv Premiership season with a draw.
The Amakhosi took on Chippa United at the Moses Mabhida Stadium but could not get the three points they desperately wanted.
Coming into the game, Chiefs had only won one of their last eight opening games of the season, Sports Brief reported.
Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki is happy with his side’s performance in the opening game of the new DStv Premiership season.
