- Neymar has reportedly made up his mind to quit Paris Saint-Germain this summer
- The Brazilian star has spent six years in Paris following his move from Barcelona in 2017
- The playmaker has been linked with a move to rejoin Barcelona
With Paris Saint-Germain already embroiled in one transfer saga, they find themselves entangled in two more.
While Kylian Mbappe's speculated move to Real Madrid has temporarily taken a backseat, the Parisians are currently grappling with negotiations to secure a deal for Ousmane Dembele.
Adding to the complexity, Neymar has now officially expressed his desire to depart Paris before the transfer window closes, as reported by L’Équipe, via GFFN.
The Brazilian star intends to reunite with Barcelona, but the Spanish club seems uninterested in the prospect of a reunion.
Neymar unhappy with PSG's ultras
Back in May, Neymar faced a distressing situation when he was confronted by numerous PSG ultras outside his residence, urging him to depart from the club, 90min reported.
Though the animosity between the player and the fans seems to have eased somewhat, the 31-year-old still carries the memory of the unpleasant incident.
In response to the events, PSG president Nasser Al Khelaïfi decided to put the forward on the transfer market.
However, the prospects of the Brazil international staying with the team were seemingly bolstered by the appointment of Luis Enrique as head coach, who had previously enjoyed a successful working relationship with Neymar during their time at Barcelona.
As reported on Sky Sports, Neymar expressed discontent over what he perceives as PSG's failure to adequately protect their players, with the aforementioned incident being a significant example.
The renowned former Santos player has gone as far as questioning his participation in the Ligue 1 champions' opening match against Lorient at the Parc des Princes on Saturday, raising doubts about his commitment to the team's defence of their title.

Coincidentally, the recent turn of events emerged just as Al Khelaïfi, already preoccupied with the Mbappe situation, had started to believe in Neymar's potential to be a pivotal player for PSG.
The team's pre-season losses against Cerezo Osaka and Inter had raised apprehensions about their offensive prowess.
However, Neymar managed to dispel some of these concerns by scoring two goals and providing an assist for Marco Asensio during their triumph over Jeonbuk Motors from South Korea. This match marked his return to the pitch after a hiatus of nearly six months.
No Neymar and Mbappe
As for PSG's stance on Neymar's future, it has now shifted, but the player himself has taken proactive measures to secure his exit from the club.
On Sunday, Al Khelaïfi was notified that the forward is keen to leave as soon as possible, presenting the club with a challenging predicament, especially with Mbappé also facing uncertainties.
