Details have emerged on why Manchester United summer signing, Rasmus Hojlund is yet to get a shirt number at Old Trafford.
Hojlund recently sealed a stunning move to the Premier League side, becoming United's third signing of the window.
According to Sky Sports, the Red Devils paid Atalanta an initial £64m, with £8m in add-ons for the services of the 20-year-old forward.
It is understood that the Danish star penned a five-year contract with the option of an additional 12 months after the move.
While Hojlund has since been unveiled, it is yet to be known which shirt number he will be sporting at United.
Rasmus Hojlund: No shirt number
The Mirror reports that the striker is waiting for the same number he wore at his previous side Atalanta to be vacated at United before landing one.
Hojlund sported the No. 17 shirt while playing for the Italian side. However, the shirt number is currently occupied by Brazilian midfielder Fred, who has been linked with a Man United exit.
A move to Fulham has been rumoured for the former Shakhtar Donetsk ace, while Galatasaray are also weighing up a potential bid for his services.
This summer represents the only chance for United to recoup some cash for the man they forked out £53m for back in 2018.
