Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki is happy with his side’s performance in the opening game of the new DStv Premiership season.
The Amakhosi gave many of their new signings a chance to feature in the game, but the side could only manage a 0-0 draw with the Chilli Boys.
Despite dropping points in the opening game once again, Ntseki praised the performance of the new signings, saying that the future was bright with them, Times LIVE reported.
“We had to beef up and strengthen the team. The new players we brought to the team are quality players. I think we've done a good profile on them and that's why you see some of them play,” he said.

While Ntseki was happy with how his side performed, he wasn’t happy with the Chippa manager’s comments.
Speaking after the game, Morgan Mammila stated that his side should have won the fixture and that Chiefs only showed up late in the game.
As noted by iDiski Times, Ntseki hit back at Mammila, saying that maybe he understood the game differently.
“It was a game of two teams competing to win the game and both teams created chances, both teams were under pressure, and under siege in certain stages of the game,” he said.
