Raja Casablanca's head coach, Josef Zinnbauer, couldn't help but praise Cristiano Ronaldo for his exceptional display in the Arab Club Champions Cup, where the Portuguese phenom led Al-Nassr to a near-flawless 3-1 victory over Zinnbauer's side on Sunday, August 6.
Before the quarterfinal clash, Raja had maintained a perfect record in the group stages, securing three wins, while Al-Nassr, had only managed one victory.
However, the Riyadh-based club, inspired by Ronaldo's brilliance, dominated the match with a remarkable goal-blitz within just 30 minutes.
The 38-year-old struck first with a powerful shot using his weaker foot, setting the tone for Al-Nassr's dominant performance. Seko Fofana and Al Ghannam further extended the lead, making the game insurmountable for Raja.
Although an own goal in the first half slightly disrupted Al-Nassr's clean sheet, they held on to secure their place in the semifinals.
In awe of the five-time Ballon d'Or recipient's contribution, the German tactician paid a glowing tribute to Cristiano, who currently leads the goal scorers chart in the Arab Cup.
CR7's near-perfect performance left a lasting impression on both his opponents and admirers, demonstrating why he is considered one of the greatest footballers of all time.
