Panic as Man United forward spotted after leaving stadium on crutches
FootballFolarin Balogun: Arsenal Star Drops Inter Milan Hint With Ronaldo’s Highlights Post
- Folarin Balogun enjoyed a successful loan spell at Reims last season with 21 league goals
- He is not guaranteed minutes at Arsenal as he is behind Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah
- Inter Milan are pushing to sign the American forward, and the Gunners want £50m
Folarin Balogun has dropped a hint he wants a move away from Arsenal this summer and appears to have selected his destination with a video shot of one of the club's legends.
Balogun came through the Gunners academy and impressed on loan in France with Stade de Reims last season, scoring 21 league goals, which alerted top European clubs to his ability.
He is not guaranteed a starting berth at Arsenal next season as he is behind strikers Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah in the pecking order, which has made him push for a move away.
Sky Italia reports that Serie A giants Inter Milan have shown interest in the American forward, but there is a gap in valuation with the player pushing for his current team to lower their asking price.
Balogun drops Inter hint
The 22-year-old keeps making clear his desire to leave the Emirates Stadium, and his latest social media activity suggests he has already made up his mind to join Inter Milan.
As spotted by Eduardo Hagn, Balogun uploaded a clip of Brazilian legend Ronaldo Nazario mesmerising defenders during his time at San Siro between 1997 and 2002.
The Nerazzurri sees him as a perfect fit for their project after missing out on West Ham striker Gianluca Scamacca, whose move was hijacked by Atalanta.
It looks unlikely Arsenal will sanction any move below their asking price, not after Jesus was ruled out after undergoing a little procedure on a knee injury.

Football5 Gabriel Jesus replacements
Sports Brief reported on five Arsenal replacements for Gabriel Jesus after the Brazilian was ruled out with a similar injury that made him miss months of action last season.
Second-choice striker Eddie Nketiah is the apparent choice and scored in the Emirates Cup victory over Monaco, while summer signing Kai Havertz can also fill in up top.
