  • The former Real Madrid captain has turned down offers from around Europe
  • Ramos has made clear where he wants to play his football next

Sergio Ramos has enjoyed a trophy-laden football career in Europe since making his first-team debut with Spanish club Sevilla in the summer of 2004.

The former Real Madrid captain having won over 30 career titles through his 19 years across clubs in Europe looks set to be on the move for a fresh chapter.

The 37-year-old who only at the end of last season turned down a contract extension at PSG, has recently rejected offers from Saudi Arabia and boyhood club Sevilla, per reports from Marca.

It is believed that Ramos would fancy a move to MLS with reports hinting at a reunion with Lionel Messi at Inter Miami.

Ramos to move to Inter Miami?

In addition to the signing of Lionel Messi, MLS club Inter Miami have completed the signings of Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba – both players who were international teammates with Ramos.

Mundo Deportivo currently reports the defender is waiting on an offer from David Beckham’s side but in any instance an offer does not arrive, might consider a move to the Saudi Pro League.

Though Ramos has reportedly also received some interest from domestic rivals LAFC, the defender is believed to prefer a move to Inter Miami, given the presence of his former teammates at the club already.

Inter Miami’s quest to sign Europe’s elite stars continue with the club expected to announce the signing of Uruguayan Luis Suarez at the end of his contract with Gremio in December.

PSG announces Ramos’ exit

Sports Brief earlier reported on Sergio Ramos’ exit from PSG.

The statement released by the club President read:

"We would like to express our immense gratitude to Sergio Ramos for the two years he has spent with us."
"Sergio's leadership, team spirit and professionalism, combined with his experience at the highest level, make him a true football legend, and it was an honour to have him in Paris.
"Everyone at the club wishes him all the best."

The announcement came less than 24 hours before PSG’s final game of the Ligue 1 season against Clermont Foot.
