Kylian Mbappe may have Paris Saint Germain held by the core, but the French club appear to be preparing for life without the superstar forward.
With the departure of Lionel Messi, PSG completed the signings of a number of forwards including the La Liga duo of Lee Kang-in and Marco Asensio.
The French club may have their third attacking signing of the summer completed soon, after reportedly agreeing to a deal with Benfica for forward Goncalo Ramos.
The 22-year-old who lit up the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar with a hattrick against Switzerland in the round of 16 could become Luis Enrique’s latest attacking addition.
PSG to sign Goncalo Ramos
Reports from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano have stated that an agreement between both clubs looks close and it appears a matter of time before the Parisien club will have their man.
Ramos who found the back of the net 19 times in 30 starts for the Portuguese giants in the league is reported would cost PSG a fee in the region of €80 million.
The forward would be joined by Ousmane Dembele and potentially Randi Kolo Muani, whom Sky Sports Florian Plettenberg reports to have a verbal agreement with the French club.
The deals for the signing of the three forwards are reported to cost PSG an excess of ₤200 million – a fee they hope to recoup with the potential sale of top scorer Mbappe to Real Madrid who have been a long-time admirer of the forward.
