FootballMbappe Courts Transfer Controversy, Poses With Real Madrid Star Amid Transfer Links
- Kylian Mbappe has dropped another hint about his future
- The France captain was spotted with Real Madrid winger Rodrygo in Italy
- Speculation about his future with Paris Saint-Germain has heightened in the last few weeks after they put him up for sale
One can argue that Kylian Mbappe is the best footballer in the world. He has been the subject of a protracted transfer saga going back to last summer. His club, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have been heavily involved in the matter.
Recently, he was spotted hanging out with Real Madrid youngster Rodrygo in Sardinia, Italy, raising more questions about his links to Madrid.
Mbappe has one year left in his contract with PSG, and he refused to sign an extension, but he wants to stay in France with the French champions. PSG do not want to lose him for nothing next summer, so they asked him to sign an extension, or they will be forced to sell him this summer.
Mabppe has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid. However, Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal submitted a world-record €300 bid for the France captain, per BBC. We are set for a dramatic last few weeks of the summer transfer window.
Mbappe was committed to PSG's squad for their pre-season tour of Japan and put up for sale.
Mbappe spotted with Rodrygo
Rodrygo's Instagram post with Mbappe in Sardinia has sent many Real Madrid fans into a frenzy.
However, according to Relevo, via Football Espana, the meeting was a coincidence rather than planned. The two are reportedly close friends and have been for some time now.
Real Madrid have not made their move for the 24-year-old World Cup winner yet but could do so before the window shuts, and Mbappe and Rodrygo could wear the same jersey by the end of this month.
