- Harry Kane has become a priority target for Bayern Munich all summer
- The forward is in the final year of his contract at Tottenham
- Bayern Munich have set a deadline for Tottenham to accept their final bid for the forward
Harry Kane’s immediate future has been subject to speculation all summer after the forward entered the final year of his contract at Premier League club Tottenham Hotspurs.
Clubs in England and across Europe have not hidden their interest in signing Kane with the forward previously linked with a move to Spanish giant Real Madrid amongst other clubs earlier in June.
The Spanish club’s interest in the forward seemingly cooled but it is the interest of Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich which seems to have got Daniel Levy and others at the London club hierarchy apprehensive, with reports from Sky Sports stating the forward would relish a move to the Bundesliga club.
Bayern having had two offers for the forward previously rejected have made a final offer which seemingly leaves the hands of decision makers at Tottenham tied.
Bayern’s final offer for Kane
Amidst the turbulence surrounding club owner Joe Lewis, the least of things Tottenham fans would wish for is the departure of their record goal scorer.
Bayern according to reports from Sky Sports made what is their final bid for the 30-year-old Kane. This bid is reported to come with a deadline which is expected to elapse on Friday midnight, hence hasting Tottenham into making a decision.
Amid Tottenham’s reluctance to accept a bid for the forward, further reports have emanated that Kane would not fancy putting pen to paper for an extension at the London club.
One thing remains clear to all parties involved in this transfer – there will be clarity on the striker’s future this week, as league football resumes for the new season.
