Ousmane Dembele's immediate future appears all but settled, with the forward currently in Paris to complete his ₤50 million transfer to Paris Saint Germain.
Barcelona, seemingly hit by the unexpected blow of the Frenchman’s exit have their eyes on the market for a replacement to fill the void created by the departure.
It appears the Catalan club may break little sweat finding a replacement, as their European rivals are possibly open to offering them a player who suits the profile of the departing forward.
Bayern open for discussions with Barcelona
Bayern Munich are reported to have teased Barcelona with a move for the signing of forward Leroy Sane.
According to reports from German journalist Christian Falk, in his exclusive daily briefing, the German giants would be willing to talk.
The journalist in his exclusive substack briefing was quoted saying:
“The €50 million transfer Barca will receive from PSG would be enough to bring Sane to Barcelona and Bayern are open to a sale.”
Despite Sane being a perfect fit for Xavi’s Barcelona, the German forward looks set to continue his immediate future at the Allianz Arena.
Sane who was recently involved in a bust-up with departed forward Sadio Mane, has his current contract at the Bavarian club running till the summer of 2025 and the forward is also reported to not be interested in any move away from the club.
